Pakistani Rangers had at around 1800 hours initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation by heavy shelling with artillery and firing of small arms along Line of Control (LoC) in Shahpur and Kern sectors.

Indian army had retaliated strongly and effectively. (ANI)
