Several countries have responded by urging restraint, calling for an immediate halt to hostilities, and pushing for a return to diplomacy. Pakistan, meanwhile, voiced clear support for Tehran.
Russia Urges Immediate Halt
Russia appealed to both Israel and the United States to immediately stop the attacks on Iran. The Russian Foreign Ministry said the situation must return to a political and diplomatic track. In an official statement, Moscow called on the international community to “objectively assess irresponsible actions that risk further destabilizing the region.” Russia also reaffirmed its readiness to support peaceful solutions based on international law, mutual respect, and balanced interests.
Philippines Prioritizes Citizen Safety
Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said the safety of Filipino nationals in West Asia is the government’s top priority. He directed the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Migrant Workers to locate citizens in affected areas and ensure their protection. Around 2.1 million Filipino workers are reportedly living across the region.
Belgium Regrets Diplomatic Breakdown
Belgium stated that the Iranian people should not suffer for their government’s decisions. Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot said it was deeply regrettable that diplomatic efforts failed to produce a negotiated settlement before the situation escalated.

Indonesia expressed regret over the collapse of US-Iran talks and appealed to all parties to exercise restraint and prioritize diplomacy.
Spain Calls Actions Unilateral
Spain described the US and Israeli military actions as unilateral and potentially destabilizing. Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said such steps could heighten global tensions. While condemning Iran’s government and Revolutionary Guards, Spain urged all sides to respect international law and stressed that only diplomatic dialogue can resolve the crisis.
