New Delhi: As part of Operation Sindhu, another flight carrying 272 Indians and three Nepalese nationals evacuated from Iran arrived in New Delhi in the early hours today.
The MEA spokesperson, giving an update on the special operation, posted on X that with this flight 3,426 Indian nationals have so far been brought back from Iran, amidst the Middle East tensions.

As part of Operation Sindhu, 224 Indian nationals evacuated from Israel arrived in New Delhi.
MoS Shobha Karandlaje welcomes evacuees who returned to India by Indian Air Force C-17 aircraft from Jordan and Egypt.
Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu people are unhappy because they were only offered train tickets, and that too after Friday. In that case they couldn't reach their destination. Some of them spent their own money and flew from New Delhi.
However, several people are still waiting in Delhi for the Tamil Nadu Government to take them by train; they probably will reach Tamil Nadu on Saturday and Sunday.
Till date, 818 Indian nationals have returned home from Israel as part of Operation Sindhu.
The Embassy of India in Tel Aviv would be making arrangements for the evacuation of Indians.

The Embassy also reiterates its earlier advisories urging all Indian citizens in Israel to remain vigilant and strictly follow the safety guidelines issued by Israeli authorities and the Home Front Command: (https://www.oref.org.il/eng).
The Government of India accords the highest priority to the safety and security of Indian nationals abroad. The Government will continue to monitor the situation closely. The Embassy remains continuously in touch with the community with a view to extending all feasible assistance, it said.
