Nation celebrates Holi with great zeal

The festival signifies the victory of good over evil and the arrival of spring.

New Delhi: The festival of colours Holi is being celebrated through out the country on Monday.

President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice President HamidAnsari and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have greeted the people on the occasion. 

He hoped that this festival strengthens brotherhood and harmony amongst all people. Mr Mukherjeesaid, happiness should also be shared with the needy and downtrodden on this day.  (With agency inputs)
